Sebastiano Bernuzzi research webpages

The webpages are a static website built using html, css, bootstrap and few homemade java scripts to load pictures and text from json databases. It is almost exclusively developed and tested with firefox. The solution is simple and robust, although not optimal. I collect here possible issues you might have when browsing the pages.

Type the correct address

The following address instead does not runs certain java scripts (I will fix this at some point...)

Cross Origin Request Security (CORS) error

If you cannot viz pictures in the first page, the news, the publication, etc a CORS error might be the cause. See here for a broswer solution. Summary:

• Open Firefox browser and in the address bar type about:config , and hit Enter button.
• Accept the risk, and hit the Warning button
• In search box type origin, and look for security.fileuri.strict_origin_policy option.
• Double click on security.fileuri.strict_origin_policy will change the status from true to false.
• Restart the browser
